Hi! I’m Mindy Noe, LCSW.

I’m a licensed clinical social worker with advanced training in sex therapy and couples therapy, working with clients in both New York and New Jersey.

I work with women and couples navigating challenges with physical intimacy, sexual functioning, pain, desire, arousal, and emotional connection.

When something intimate feels painful, pressured, or disconnected, it’s natural to feel confused or overwhelmed.

I’m here to help you navigate that process, and I bring experience supporting clients through these concerns. Together, we can slow things down, make sense of what’s happening, and move toward a clearer, more connected path.

In addition to my training in sex therapy and couples therapy, I’m also trained in attachment-based and trauma-informed approaches. This means I pay close attention to the emotional patterns, past experiences, and relationship dynamics that might be shaping what feels difficult now.

My goal is to create a warm, respectful space where you feel understood and supported as you move toward greater clarity, confidence, and connection.

My Approach

My work looks at the full picture: the body, the nervous system, emotions, relationship patterns, medical factors, personal history, and the couple’s communication.

Intimacy is rarely “just physical” or “just emotional.” Often, the physical and emotional pieces are deeply connected, and therapy helps untangle what is happening with care and clarity.

My clinical approach is informed by advanced training in sex therapy, attachment theory and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. I draw from research-based frameworks around desire, arousal, pain, attachment, communication, and the mind-body connection.

I am also especially sensitive to the needs of Religious couples and the importance of addressing intimacy in a way that is respectful, and aligned with Torah values.
